Brass dial bracket clock, 1760-1770.

Mahogany bracket clock with cove and ovolo molded top, and cast brass handle at the top. Arched sidelights, and blind fretwork in the spandrels above the glazed arched door. Cove and ovolo molding at the base. Composite brass dial with applied chapter ring with roman hour numerals and arabic minute numerals, applied cast ornament in the spandrels and lunette, and a silent/strike selector in the lunette. Inside the chapter ring there is a calendar aperture and a name plate engraved "E. Duffield Philad." Eight day movement.
